USING YOUR STAINLESS STEEL MIXING BOWLS
- Before using your mixing bowls for the first time, hand-wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- To preserve the interior finish, we recommend using only silicone, nylon, bamboo or wood utensils. Using metal utensils may scratch the interior surface.
- When storing food in the bowls, remove the slicer or grater insert and replace it with the lid center.
- Do not leave or store food remains in the bowls for long periods of time. Superficial pitting may occur if very salty or acidic foods (such as tomatoes) are left in the bowls.
- Bowls are not suitable for stove-top, oven or microwave use.

CLEANING AND CARING FOR YOUR STAINLESS STEEL MIXING BOWLS
- We recommend hand-washing and drying to optimize the life and performance of the interior and exterior finishes of the mixing bowls.
- We recommend hand-washing and drying the lids to ensure they maintain a tight fit.

USING THE MIXING BOWLS WITH INSERTS
- Before using your slicer and grater inserts for the first time, hand-wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Use caution when cleaning.
- The slicer and grater inserts are interchangeable with the 3 Qt. and 5 Qt. mixing bowl storage lids.
- To use the inserts, remove the solid plastic center from the 3 Qt. or the 5 Qt. storage lid.
- Select either the slicer or grater insert and press it firmly into the opening in the storage lid.
- Ensure cutting edges on the slicer insert are perpendicular to the lid tabs.
- Place the storage lid with the insert onto the appropriately sized mixing bowl.
- Firmly hold the mixing bowl with one hand on a flat, clean and stable surface and either slice or grate the food using downward strokes.
- When slicing and grating is complete, simply remove the lid from the mixing bowl and empty out the contents.
- To remove the insert from the lid, apply pressure from the back side of the lid and pop out the insert.

- We recommend hand-washing and drying to optimize the life and cutting performance of the inserts.
- Do not soak or leave food residue on the inserts for long periods of time. Superficial pitting and/or staining on the blades may occur if very salty or acidic foods are left on the inserts.
